Mission & Purpose:

 

"To support and promote programs and projects which encourage assistance to the poor and disadvantaged, primarily with regard to their legal needs and to educate the public about the legal system."

The corporation was organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

Some of the ways the Foundation will operate:

· To support and promote programs and projects for the improvement of the administration of justice and the dissemination of information to the general public to promote a better understanding of the law;

· To encourage and promote legal assistance to the poor and to disadvantaged groups;

· To foster programs of law related education for students and adults;

· To award grants for scholarships and fellowships to those for the improvement of the legal profession;

To support continuing legal education programs, particularly programs of an experimental nature or of general interest to the entire legal profession in the community and which are not self supporting. Your tax deductible contributions and support of the Bar Foundation and its endeavors are critical elements of our past and future success.
